On October 29, 2025, the Philippine government and international development partners convened in Pasay City for a crucial summit, The Resilience Agenda: National Policy Dialogue on Climate and Disaster Resilience. Recognizing that climate change is a paramount national and global issue, the dialogue gathered leaders, technical experts, and civil society to strengthen the country’s institutional frameworks for disaster risk reduction and climate change adaptation.

- The Resilience Marketplace: An interactive exhibition showcasing innovative, science-based tools for disaster risk management, such as GeoRiskPH and early warning systems.
- Plenary & Thematic Sessions: Critical discussions emphasizing gender-sensitive approaches, local empowerment, and data-driven policy-making.
- The Resilience Manifesto: The culminating joint call to action, cementing a multi-sectoral commitment to scale up sustainable, nature-based, and ecosystem-based climate responses.
The Dialogue was organized by the Department of Finance (DOF) and the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) through the Disaster Risk Reduction Enhancement at the Local Level – Technical Assistance Project (DRREALL-TA). It was made possible through the support of Expertise France and the Agence Française de Développement (AFD), with funding from the European Union (EU).
